This is a six-pin standalone programmer for ISP/ICSP connections on boards like the Arduino and other Atmel devices with a ZIF socket for programming DIP chips. (This is meant to be a kit, but I enjoy building it so much I'll send it assembled unless you send me a message requesting parts and instructions.) If you're searching for "USBASP" I kind of figure you already know why you want one: This makes your Arduino work a little easier.
