You are bidding on an HBO 50 fluorescence power supply. This unit is from the 160 mm mechanical tube length series of Zeiss microscopes. It was made by Ludl Electronics in Hawthorne, New York for Zeiss. It is Zeiss catalog number 990002. I have turned this unit on and tested it to see if it draws current and it does – the switch lights up green. Unfortunately, I do not have a lamp housing to try this unit with to be 100% sure that it works. However, I am very confident that it does work. If you buy this unit and it does not work with your Zeiss HBO 50 lamp housing, I will refund the full amount you paid for it. This unit has an L1/L2 switch on the back to switch over depending on which 50W bulb you are using. The photos show the actual item for sale.
