Up for sale is a 3D Printer Z406 Rapid Prototyping System and its depowdering unit ZD4 from Z Corporation (currently called 3D systems). The printer and its depowdering unit are in very good shape. The two units came from a pharmaceutical company that shut down its lab and they were in a good working condition. I fully tested the depowdering unit and it is fully function with no problems. The Z406 3D printer also in a very good shape and looks fully functional. It powers up and boots fine. the feed and build beds move up and down smoothly. All control buttons works and there is no error messages. The spread moves right and left and parks with no problem at all. The fluid cabinet looks like great but I think it is missing the wash tank as shown in the picture. I do not know if it was not needed or was not important but it can be easy replaced with any tank. I could not print parts with it since I do not have the consumable (powder, binding fluid) in addition to that I could not connect it to the printer software which may be due to not having the right windows or the right cable. I appreciate if someone has a similar machine give me some tips on how he/she is running it on a newer computer using USB to DP9 cable adapter. I have taken some videos to show how they are functioning. If you are interested contact me and i will send them to you.
