Gorgeous vintage true 1950s Mid-Century bentwood legal sized desk organizer tray. This tray is in very good condition but does have 2 thin vertical hairline cracks on two of the corners. Neither compromise the strength or appearance. Measures 10 1/2" x 16 1/2" x 2 1/2". Beautiful teak or walnut(??) bent wood show the craftsmanship that went into the piece. Still has the original felt bottom which is in perfect shape. Use this in the office or on the kitchen counter---it will look great anywhere in the house! NOTE: The matching trash can I had listed separately (but sold already) had a metal (inventory?) tag on the very bottom that says Lyle Cashion Co. 07 10. A google search of Lyle Cashion Co. revealed that it was an oil and gas exploration company operating in Jackson, MS that started in 1950. I even found an article from an Mississippi Architect magazine from 1963 showcasing the business headquarters with pictures of the interior decor. Very cool! I looked but couldn't see this particular piece. I bought this item at an estate sale in Jackson and I believe it was at the home of a former executive.
