Terms of Sale: (No need to read further unless you are considering a purchase.) You will receive that which is shown in the first photo minus anything incidental in the background. Matching the photo with what you believe the title says is important. If you read something into the title that is not included in the photos, I have to assume you did not review the entire listing plus photos and I cannot accept claims that the item is not as described. Most transactions are problem free and it is rare to have any of the following issues. All the following are parts of this contract. I’ve sold for most of this century with little or no trouble until lately as there seems to be more and more scam artists. It is a long time coming, but I have to protect myself with the following: This is an actual email from a viewer: “Instead of stating disclaimers (making excuses ahead of time) and laying down the ground rules, why don't you just make a complete and honest description of what you're hoping to sell?” I don’t claim to be perfect. If I miss something just ask a question. The viewers comment is uncalled for; each scenario I describe has happened, so ground rules are necessary. Further, if you read through my terms/policy and look at my feedback you will understand that I have an exceedingly fair policy and people love to deal with me. Sometimes I will try to demonstrate the item in a latter photo. Items used for demonstration are not included. I do not design or manufacture the bargains I offer. They are previously marketed items. More often than not I cannot attest to their effectiveness and I am not a user. The point is, I depend on the viewer to be educated, do their research, and read reviews before making a decision to buy. My intent is to offer the best of the item I can find at the lowest price for its quality. This is not the place to try out an item to see if you like it. I discourage those of you who are tempted to buy because of low price and then hold me accountable for the quality of it. If you find an issue with the product which you thought was going to work with perfection, please contact the manufacturer which is most likely going to send you parts and instructions for free. I cannot. If this item is a garment, it may have been exposed to perfumes, soaps, mothballs or other allergens. If you have ever had a reaction to any such substances, pass on this and look elsewhere. I do not compensate for allergic reactions. If this is a breakable item, it is shipped insured. I spend a great deal of time packaging and I have a great deal of confidence in my methods. In very rare instances, an item will arrive broken, or at least that is what is reported. You agree to file the claim for the insured amount. Upon completion of that process, I may reimburse you for shipping as long as we remain agreeable. I do not compensate for mishandling and/or breakage; that is what insurance is for, and this process also keeps people honest. Purchases: If your purchase is an accident or error, you agree to pay all shipping charges whether or not free shipping is offered. Notify me as soon as possible if you’ve made a mistake. Often the shipping can be halted, the transaction can be reversed, and we can go our separate ways without losing a dime. You agree to have a current Paypal approved address on file. The item ships to that address. You agree to pay all additional expenses for resulting misdirection of mail. You are responsible for any resulting delays. Asking me to ship elsewhere is prohibited by eBay. You agree to assume all responsibility for misunderstanding if you buy through a mobile app or fail to read all information included in any item listing. VERY IMPORTANT(Not applicable to international shipping.) I’ve complained to eBay about this; there must be a better way. In very rare instances, the carrier (Post Office) will charge postage due. I have no idea why. But if this happens to you, please don’t get angry and threaten me. Yes, I am responsible, but I have to rely on the carrier to do what they are paid to do. All you have to do is send me an image of the extra postage notice and I will reimburse you. By the way, all packages are carefully weighed and measured and shipped using eBay’s label printing page and this works just shy of 100% of the time. Also important is the next paragraph. You agree to take delivery of the package as soon as possible, including picking up at shipper if necessary. Notification of attempted delivery is considered delivery. If reasonable action to reschedule delivery is not taken and the package is returned unclaimed, 20% restocking fee and all shipping costs are paid by you. International cross-border buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, etc. imposed by the buyer's home country. Returns: I do take returns, but one would not know this unless one reads these details. Nearly all my listings state otherwise in the standard ebay listing form. The reason for this is too many arguments in the past with people who order the wrong thing and then expect me to pay shipping. I try to discourage these, who also don’t read the details, so they think they can’t return and go elsewhere. You, the wise ebayer, then finds this for sale. There is one exception to my promise in the next paragraph, that is with a new item. No refunds if a new item is opened. Any item packaged as new from the factory, ie., sealed, bubble packed, tamper-proof packed, etc. is not returnable if opened. Folks, I often have only one or 2 of any item and when someone carelessly orders the wrong item, opens it and then wants to return, the advantage of newness and the sale is ruined. I am not a big box store selling thousands of items that can take back a few dozen and then write them off. I will discount what I have to the greatest extent possible so that you and I can make a great deal. We both are then blessed with money to use to put taters on the table. I promise not to stick you with something you can’t use. However, educate yourself and read BEFORE purchasing. Look at all pictures -- ALL of them. In return I expect you not to expect me to pay for shipping an item you purchased mistakenly. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee with some exceptions. This fee is also instant store credit valid for 60 days. Negative feedback halts all further business. Buyers always pay return shipping. Email first for return authorization or follow eBay’s automated return procedure if activated. Return item in same condition with all tags in original packaging. No refund is given until the item is delivered back to me. Use tracking and/or delivery confirmation at your discretion. No refunds given for uninsured items lost or damaged during return. If I determine that an error is my fault, I will reimburse you for shipping. You agree to promptly approve requests to cancel transactions in the event of an item return. This clears the books and all fees are canceled. Packages refused or returned to me unclaimed are equivalent to packages delivered and returned. You pay all resulting shipping costs. You agree to be responsible for determining if the part or product matches your need. Occasionally, parts don’t fit and it’s nobody’s fault and need to be returned. You and I each pay shipping one way in that event. Colors can vary per screen, and subtleties in browns and grays especially can be hard to capture on camera. If colors are of high importance in your bid you should contact me for further confirmation before a purchase. Subtle difference in color is not an accepted reason for return unless we have talked about it in advance. Feedback: It’s happened again; someone has given me positive feedback and then later charged-back the item on their credit card, saying they did not approve the purchase. Here is my policy: I do feedback all at once. It is more time efficient and it also gives me time to see if a charge back comes. If the latter happens, I report those people to eBay. Expect to see feedback 30 to 45 days later.
