This milliammeter has been in my family for over 70 years, and probably another 10-20 years with my father.  I may have used it as part of my home-made ham gear in the late '40s & early '50s.    The meter is a part of a known flush-mount model 301 series, with shown patent dates back to 1888. Serial no.: 449867.    The meter still works (as does the zero set function), although I can't attest as to its accuracy.    Cosmetically, there are a few slightly "cloudy" areas which light cleaning did not remove (see photo). These seem to be on the inside of the glass face, and are likely to be mildew.  These could be cleaned by opening the unit, via the three small screws in the periphery. The case also has a lightly "speckled" appearance, which was improved by light cleaning.    Dimensions: 3-1/4" O.D., 2-1/4" face O.D., 2-9/16" rear case O.D., 1-1/16" case depth, terminal length 3/4".
