DESCRIPTION: Type: Vintage Self Service Vacuum Tube Tester Part/Model # Test-o-Matic Condition: Missing Meter and case so no box Minor scratches on cover and face and paint, this tester it looks like new to me or just been used couple time all pin are very clean I have this tester as many other one in my store storage for over 25 years this tube tester it still have the original box but unfortunately I don't know what happen to the meter, the meter in picture is for another one the I have, I just used it to make sure is working fine.So meter is not included I test several tube and is working good, but as with all vintage electronics (sold as is) Note: on this tester you can used most any meter, it don't have to be original. Vintage Test-o-Matic Self Service Vacuum Tube Tester working This is An emission checker tests for shorts & cathode (or filament) emission only. The meter reading gives a good-bad reading by virtually tying all the elements of a vacuum tube together (except the cathode & heater) and testing the tube for cathode emission by subjecting it to test as a diode (or rectifier). An emission checker will basically tell you whether a tube is usable or not and give you an indication how strong is the cathode emission. however is good testing for shorts and leakage. This tester will go for Parts or repair, no return on item or refund (sold as is ) I'm selling this because I don't need it, don't used it and been in storage for over 25 years.
