Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Model 400w21 Light to Medium Sewing Motor 121H The Singer Sewing Co. I do not know much about this piece of equipment but will explain the best that I can. Model # 400w21. High speed, single needle, lock stitch, with double rotary disc take-up. Belt-driven rotary sewing hook on a horizontal axis. Drop feed adjustable for stitches from 5 1/2 to 30 per inch; presser bar lift 9/32". For stitching light and medium weight fabrics. The machine was acquired from a coat factory years ago and has been in storage unused. It has been plugged in and the motor does run. I did not try to run the machine because I do not know how it works. The wheel belt is still on and a threaded needle in still in position. The underside of the machine is very clean - as seen in photo. Wooden top measures - 48" L X 21" W X 30" H (from floor). Has two numbers - 400W21 and W1103614.....one may be a Serial Number. The motor is very clean.
