vintage Production Instrument Co. "Mercury" pulse modulated? counter 24V, 60 cyc. This counter is in nice shape. Requires 24 volts AC, or 12 volts DC, according to previous owner's marking on one side (see 4th picture) and manufacturer markings as to 24V (2nd picture). The plastic cover over the moving numbers is in good shape, no cracks.  The manufacturer's marking "PM" (2nd picture -- just barely visible if you look closely) - is assumed to mean pulse modulated.  Not sure what this is used for exactly. The previous owner was an old time ham amateur radio operator. He worked at the television transmitter of a major broadcast network from the 1950s-early 1980s so it is likely this came from his workplace. It appears to have been taken out of service fairly early - apparently after only  reaching "61" counts of whatever. The previous owner and his colleagues were in the habit of taking home pieces of equipment from their workplace when the items were replaced with newer equipment. (A frequent occurrence.)  Selling details: This item is sold as-is, as found. There are no refunds or returns. Payment is expected within 3 days of end of auction.
