Vintage Packard GM Electric Motor 1/3 HP Model S7415  6 AMP 115V  Beautiful industrial age looking electric motor from Packard division of GM.  Rare find to go along with your equipment restoration project or power your new project that needs an authentic look that can't be found in a modern motor. Here I'll add a note sent to me from a very kind eBay member:  "This motor was made in March of 1953. I don't know what the "F" stands for. It was made in Plant 6, the "motor plant" on Thomas Road in Warren. I worked there in 1982, when they made engine controls. The old guys I worked with told me all about the motors. Most were sold to Sears.The plant is still there, but Packard sold it a few years ago. All motor manufacturing was stopped in Warren, Ohio in 1961 when they moved the lines to Dayton, Ohio. They were called Delco/Packard for a while and then just Delco. I'm a diemaker at Packard in Warren. That is a very nice motor.
