Up for bid is a vintage La Salle Stenotype Machine with case.  Included are a full tray of paper, a new bottle of ink and the original instructions booklet for the care of the machine.  The machine is in very good working order.  It does not include a stand.  This is a secretarial model and although a stand could be used, typically they were truly the original "Desk Top" means of transcribing.  The secretarial differs from a reporting model in that it has a slightly smaller tray to hold paper.  The reporting models accommodate more paper due to the heavier volume of writing for proceedings such as a trial, for example, while this model might be used for shorter business correspondence.  The original booklet has some writings and ink marks on the back but does not obliterate any of the information.  This weighs 9 pounds.  Shipping amount will be determined by destination.
