Vintage high quality dual sided meat tenderizer or mallet / hammer is constructed of heavy cast aluminum with coarse prongs on one side fine on the other. The sleek one piece design is solid and well balanced to do the work for you. It measures 8" long and the diameter of the pounding surface is 1.5". It is in good vintage condition with some light surface scratches and some pits to a few of the prongs, mainly on the coarse side. Please Read the Following Before Making Purchase Please look at photos closely as they are an important part of the description. My goal is to make sure my buyers are completely happy with their purchase and I have many years of excellent customer service and satisfied buyers. I do extensive research when needed and guarantee all items to be authentic and as described. Most of my items are vintage and purchased at auctions, thrift shops and estate sales. I have no way of knowing if the prior owners smoked or had pets so please take that into consideration before placing a bid. My home is smoke free but I do have a dog. Lastly, if you feel you need to leave neutral or negative feedback please let me know beforehand so I can try to to resolve things to your satisfaction - many buyers are not aware that a neutral feedback is exactly the same as negative and both result in a defect against the seller. Ebay will rarely remove a defect once a case is open - even when it was not what the buyer intended to do or when the USPS or other carrier is proven to be responsible in the case of loss of damage.
