For those of you recalling the horror of 1960's Jr. High band class, one of these little gizmos was in every music room. The teacher would switch it on and a perfect B b would sing across the room as a herd of squawking geese attempted to match it. It was an awful sound if you recall. Ah...those were the days. A lot of these later made their way into garage band rehearsal spaces and were a fixture in the 70's and 80's before folks tuned their guitars with a cell-phone app. This little unit works great. It is a 3-tube model with about the wattage of a small portable phonograph. It is missing one original case screws and could use a little cleaning but otherwise it's still going strong! The Conn LT4 also had a cycle control pot to fine tune the tone and its located on the back of the unit. Count on about 7 lbs in a foot square box.
