Hello and welcome. You are bidding today on some antique, vintage, really old reamers in a wooden storage box. Sticker on the outside of the box reads L.O. Beard Tool Company Lancaster, PA USA. This is a complete set identified on the sheet inside the box lid as Service Set 3 Sizes A-H eight (8) reamers and eight (8) pilots--Cutting range 15/32" to 1 1/16" $36.00 I'm going to identify each tool by the markings on it starting with the smallest and working my way up. 1. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 15/32-17/32 A 2. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 17/32-19/32 B 3. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 19/32-21/32 C 4. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 21/32-23/32 D 5. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 23/32-25/32 E 6. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 25/32-27/32 F 7. Beard Lancaster PA Rest of the markings are obliterated. It looks as if this were mounted in a chuck of some sort and markings were damaged by slippage in the chuck. It is proportional in size to the others making it G 27/32-15/16 8. Beard Lancaster PA Made in USA 15/16-1 1/16 H These are in used but not abused condition and what you see is what you get. It looks as if number six (6) is missing the knurled free turning handle that all the others have. It appears from the instruction sheet inside the top of the box lid that this set sold originally for $36.00. Will make a great addition to someone's collection.
