Verifone Vx670 Wireless WiFi Terminal PLEASE read this ad carefully !!! This is the WiFi version , NOT wireless GPRS . Use it in locations served by a wireless ROUTER, connected to a DSL internet Modem. This is ideal for RESTAURANTS wanting to satisfy customers' security issues by swiping the credit card at the table. It can also be used in large stores with multiple checkout lanes, all served by one wireless router (no wires to run) in back of store. I also learned that a "HOT Spot" created by your cell fone provider can serve as a signal source as well. Max distance from router is 300 ft NOTE: In the USA, only the following Processors support this model: First Data (OMAHA platform only), Paymentech, Global payments, TSYS, Vantiv (Fifth Third bank), and APRIVA. NOTE: This terminal must be downloaded with your Merchant program thru a standard dial telephone line or a PC/USB port.
