USB interface and Windows compatible software for Programmed Test Source (PTS) synthesizer Models PTS160 through PTS1000 and using the Centronics 50 pin connector.  PTS synthesizers have long set the standard in RF frequency synthesizers with extremely for low phase noise, fast lock up times, and quality construction. W8BL interface allows the user to set frequency and output levels from any PC using the Windows operating system via the USB port. Interface draws power from either the USB port or the PTS (jumper seleced). Frequency can be saved to EEPROM memory on the interface so that PTS can be used without attaching the PC. Interface also allows the PTS to be operated as a sweep/step frequency generator. Fully assembled, includes, USB cable and software. Please note: USB interface cannot increase the frequency resolution. Frequency resolution depends on the modules installed in the PTS.
