 CORUZZI PERFORMANCE DESIGN All of our tools are made in the USA. This left hand lathe turning tool is precision machined from durable 4140 alloy steel. 3.0" long with a 3/8" square shank. Great tool for facing operations. Carbide insert pocket is precision cnc machined and features tapered seat walls for super accurate carbide indexing. It takes a standard TCMT 21.51 carbide insert which is a great size insert with a nice positive chip hook. The insert can be rotated to a new cutting edge fast and precise. The 4140 alloy steel is a good strong material with great wear resistance, it can also be heat treated to become super hard and almost indestructible if you feel the need. The tool comes with 1 TCMT 21.51 CM14 Cobra carbide insert installed, an extra screw, and a 2.0mm wrench. The screws take a regular metric 2.0mm allen wrench. You can also use the torx style screws that usually come with this type of insert tool. This is a nice affordable lathe tool to add to your tool box, because we all know you can never have enough tooling for your machines.
