Includes Bath Refrigerator System, Blade holder, blades, specimen tilting vise, specimen mount device, blade angle indicator, manual, spare parts, power cord, and Vhs setup videos, and otherwise as pictured. Optional remote control foot pedal is not included. The Ted Pella Pelco Vibratome 1500 is a vibrating microtome with fully automated functions. Users can simply enter the number of sections and thickness required per section, and the Vibratome will create the sections and stop. This unit has an LED display and controls for speed, vibration amplitude, direction, and auto/single/manual sectioning. An integrated lamp and magnifying glass provides illumination and close-up viewing of the specimen. The sectioning window of blade travel distance can be adjusted forward or back with limit switches on the side of the housing which allows control of the distance of blade travel both in front of, and to the rear of the sample to be cut, allowing minimal sectioning time and maximum efficiency. All functions on the system are working. Blades are not included. The unit powers up, programs for thickness per slice and quantity of sections to be sliced, and the auto-lift and vibrator and forward/reverse, and limit switches are all working.
