Topcon GTS-825A Auto Tracking Robotic Total Station System w/ Allegro MX, SurvCE & Parani Radio This Total Station is in good to very good condition; we've calibrated it, cleaned it (though it didn't need much) and fully tested it. This is a complete system; the only items not included here are a tripod, prism pole, or bipod (we can make a deal on new or used if you need it). When this system arrives, you will be able to go to work the next day. We even charge all the batteries before shipping! This is a good, solid entry into robotic surveying or construction staking. This gun tracks a moving prism and communicates easily with the data collector through the Bluetooth Parani radios. The included RC unit offers a "whistle" to "call" the instrument with if it does lose lock. This RC-2R cables to the data collector, and works well to redirect the instrument! With the brand new Parani radio system, radio battery life is no longer an issue (these little guys can last for more than 20 hours!) and all the field equipment fits inside the instrument case! Simply cable one to the instrument and hang off the tripod leg and hook the other to the Allegro and attach to you pole and your comms will reach out to 1,400 feet! The data collector and instrument batteries in this system are used, and therefore may require replacing in the near future. We have not recelled or replaced any of the batteries. All seem to hold some charge but we haven't tested them extensively. New batteries and cells can be found from various sellers on eBay, or you can ask us to take care of it for you (we will have to adjust the system price accordingly). Also of note, while in good condition, the data collector does have two issues. Firstly, one of the hooks on the battery door is broken, therefore the battery compartment does not fully seal. Secondly, aesthetically the screen is in perfect condition with a new protector but there is one small spot (top right) where the touch function is spotty, but full navigation is still possible. Additionally, the docking station is a little finicky and requires a perfect seating to achieve communications.
