Lights up when plugged in and writes nicely! I was not able to capture a photo of this, however, because it disappears quickly after writing it, assumingly for security purposes when signing for something. Driver software did not install like other models when plugged in via USB cable to my computer but it did immediately light up and work, unlike other models.
