Each plastic tube of Sil-Fos 15 contains 28 rods, with a total weight of 1 pound. This brazing rod is also known for its slow flow, providing you with more control during the brazing process. Among the Sil-Fos family, it's the best alloy for general purpose use. However, if you're brazing brass, it's best to use a flux. This product contains phosphorus, which works as a fluxing agent, eliminating the need for a separate one. Sil fos 15 is the ultimate solution for copper-copper brazing. Additionally, Sil-Fos 15 offers the highest joint ductility out of the entire Sil-Fos family, making it the ideal option for withstanding the stresses common in refrigeration applications. Gaps are no problem when using Sil-Fos 15, making it perfect for situations where close fit-ups can't be maintained.
