It has a pulse duration of 0.09 seconds and a pulse frequency which is adjustable from 1-7 times a second. Beam size is twice the width of the SDL-15 Economy unit for ultra-fast laser epilation procedures. This is a great starter unit for a small salon that performs bikini, facial and full body epilation procedures but not tattoo removal or general dermatology. For those procedures you will require a minimum of 130 jcm2 (please refer to the SDL-50 and SDL-80 units). Maximum intensity output is twice what is recommended for epilation procedures (Fitzpatrick skin types 2-5). Surface epilation (also know as laser shaving) is possible on blond and grey hair with the aid of carbon dye (included in kit).
