General Description: These are brand-new lab/medical grade air/gas* pumps imported from Schwarzer Precision in Germany. This is high-grade German engineering. These pumps are designed to deliver two different media at the same time or have the inputs or outputs ganged together to double the flow rates or pressure/vacuum. They ship configured to double flow rates (parallel configuration) but the tubes are easily swapped (series configuration). The units are oil and maintenance free with long-life brushless 24VDC motors. Each motor has a 5VDC logic-level PWM or analog enable line as well as a tachometer output for feedback control. They are already pretty quiet, but I also offer a limited number of mufflers for even quieter operation if one of the ports must be open to the air. Pump functionality is checked before it ships so you can be assured you are getting a new functional unit. Typical applications include: Automatic blood pressure measurement devices Anesthesia devices Gas analyzers and detectors Pneumatics/robotics Auto-samplers Pipette devices Pump specifics: Typical free flow rate in parallel configuration (as shipped): 13.5 liters/min Free flow rate in series configuration: 8.3 liters/min Max vacuum (parallel): -730 mbar (-10 psi) Max vacuum (series): -920 mbar (-13psi) Max current draw (parallel): 750mA Max current draw (series): 1500mA Wiring: Red - Positive supply (+24VDC) Black - Ground (0VDC) Green - Tachometer output (0-5VDC) White - PWM or analog control (0-5VDC) NOTE: PWM frequency is set by the manufacturer. Please see their documentation. Incorrect PWM frequency drive may damage the unit. Analog control means you can drive a 0-5V signal into the device and control its speed (no need to alter the supply voltage). Shipping: I can offer each pump individually bubble wrapped and box shipped. As you can see by the pictures above, original box shipping is not an option unless you want to purchase 20 at a time.
