The VivacellВ® 250's unique membrane module takes only seconds to replace, and the concentrated product can be easily monitored through the graduated inspection window. With these advantages, the VivacellВ® 250 Insert VC2511 is an excellent choice for those who want to concentrate their biological samples more efficiently and effectively. The Sartorius VivacellВ® 250 Insert VC2511 with a 5000 MWCO and PES material is now available in an unopened box of 5, all in the original packaging from the manufacturer. These inserts have an expiration date of 12/2015 and are currently being sold at a 50% discounted price from the list price of $131. The VivacellВ® 250 is designed to concentrate larger biological samples with up to 250 ml starting volume. This new concept offers many advantages over traditional stirred cells. With a unique conical dead stop built into the bottom of the membrane insert, concentrations under 1 ml can be achieved. Additionally, the gentle vortex action of the product controls membrane polarization while reducing the typical shear effects of stirring mechanisms. The VivacellВ® 250 can be used in two ways, either as a free-standing product on a bench top or in a refrigerator for maximum simplicity, or on a laboratory shaker for faster concentrations. Setup or membrane replacement takes just a few seconds with the quick connect fittings and simple screw closure, making the process almost effortless.
