RS02RU Super Active RFID Receiver Module Il ( Dimensions, 18 cm X 6.5 cm X 2 cm ) This is the 2nd version of a low cost active RFID receiver (can read our active rfid modules only) with USB interface to connect to a host directly. If you need Serial or Bluetooth version, please check RS02RS or RS02RB. This can also be used to drive some other circuitry via IO0 and IO1. A 9 to 12V DC supply is required to power the unit, which has a current consumption of less than 200 mA. A 9VDC/300 mA (2.1 mm center positive) plug jack will do fine. The on board relay has 28VDC 12A rating which is sufficient to switch on/off any external circuit. Specifications,  RS02RS Super Active RFID receiver module Il Supply Voltage No need. This is via USB. Supply Current < 200mA via USB port Operating Temperature 0 - 50C Operating Frequency 315 Mhz or 433 Mhz Build-in Watchdog Yes. 2.3 seconds USB PORT   Type 9600 Baud, 8 bit words,1 stop bit,1 start bit, no parity.  The USB chip is PL2303 and the driver can be downloaded from our support site www DOT AnaniahElectronics DOT com. Operation Configure mode Set DIP switch 1 to ON and connect to the pc com port via USB. Start hyperterminal with baud rate 9600, 8-N-1. Please refer to the following command set. Running mode Set DIP switch 1 to OFF. If you don’t need to receive the transmitter ID or control the board by a PC, you don’t need to connect to a PC. When there is an active tag in range, the board will Report the ID via the serial port; The green light will be toggled; If the in range ID matched with the stored ID (max. 12 ID) and the last time between the same ID received is greater than a preprogrammed interval (to avoid turn on the relay too frequent because our transmitter will send out the ID for every 2.5 seconds), the relay will be turned on for a preprogrammed interval (this can be used to trigger an electric door lock) What else you can do when the tag is in range? You can double click the on board micro switch to register the transmitter ID. Registered ID will turn on the relay. This is the most simplest way to register a transmitter (no need to use a PC) You can single click the on board micro switch to clear all registered ID What other functions are supported? There are 2 digital outputs (IO0 and IO1) that can be controlled by the PC. This can drive 20 mA circuitry; The on board buzzer can be controlled by the PC; The on board relay can be controlled by the PC; The status of 4 digital inputs( B0, B1, B2, B3) will be sent to the PC when the status is changed (from high to low, or from low to high) RS02RU Setup This receiver can store up to 12 ID which  will switch on the relay when the ID is in range. You can either using the PC to setup the ID list or simply using the on board micro switch for the easy setup. Procedure 1.  Set the receiver as working mode (set DIP switch 1 to OFF) 2.  Single click the micro switch will clear all stored data. If successful you should hear 1 long beep. (1 second beep) 3.  Place the transmitter in range you should see the green light is blinking 4.  Double-click the micro switch, if you hear 2 short beeps, the ID has been added successfully. If you hear 3 short beeps, the ID cannot be added as 12 storages are fully occupied. If you hear nothing, this ID has been in the device already. 5.  Switch off this transmitter and loop back to step 3 to register another transmitter RS02RU Command Sheet Configuration Mode   Command Description Response   (C) Clear Stored ID (OK)   (A=xxxx) Add a new ID (OK)   (D=xxxx) Delete a ID (OK)   (I=x) Set relay turn on interval (pulse width) in number of 0.5 second. x is between 1 to 9 (OK)   (i) Get the stored interval value (x) where x is between 1 and 9   (E=xxx) Set how long the tag data will be ignored after a valid read in number of 0.5 second (OK)   (e) Get the stored tag ignored interval (xxx) where x is between 1 an 999   Running Mode       Command Description Response   (B0=0) Turn off the buzzer (OK)   (B0=1) Turn on the buzzer (OK)   (R0=0) Turn off the relay (OK)   (R0=1) Turn on the relay (OK)   (I0=0) Set IO0 to low (OK)   (I0=1) Set IO0 to high (OK)   (I1=0) Set IO1 to low (OK)   (I1=1) Set IO1 to high (OK)     Button state changed   B0 changed from high to low (B0=0)   B0 changed from low to high (B0=1)   B1 changed from high to low (B1=0)   B1 changed from low to high (B1=1)   B2 changed from high to low (B2=0)   B2 changed from low to high (B2=1)   B3 changed from high to low (B3=0)   B3 changed from low to high (B3=1)   Pricing,  RS02RU Super Active RFID receiver module Il - USB Version Description $US RS02RU $89.5   Application,  RS02RU Super Active RFID receiver module Il - USB Version Since this is an active RFID device, you don’t need to touch the receiver to activate the on board relay. This is very usefully for disability or elderly peoples who are using automatic devices such as electric door. A wheel chair installed with our transmitter can open an electric door when the wheel chair is within 8 meters from the door. We used to ship 315 version to North America and some other countries and 433 version to EU, Australia, Malaysia and some other countries.
