The Ridgid 1822-I auto-chucking pipe threader with 535 two 815a die heads for 4-6" pipes is available for purchase. This device is in great condition and comes with a self-opening, self-oiling die head with dies for 1/2"-3/4" pipes, a new set of dies for 1"-2" pipes, and an automatic chucking system that chucks down on pipes and unlocks with the flip of a switch. The unit also includes a collapsable rolling wheel stand and can thread up to 4"-6" pipes with an additional attachment of a Ridgid 141 or 161 pipe threader (not included). This item has a fracture on the plastic around the oil/chip strainer, but it does not affect the return of oil to the reservoir. This machine is capable of threading a wide range of materials, including black and galvanized pipe, stainless steel, IMC, PVC, and heavy-wall conduit. It has an induction motor that delivers constant 45 or 16 RPM as required, and constant and proper lubrication of dies and workpiece with through-head oiling. Additionally, triple filtration provides longer oil pump life and clean threads, and high impact-resistant covers ensure durability. The Ridgid 1822-I auto-chucking pipe threader has a pipe capacity of 1/8" - 2" (3 mm - 50 mm), 2 1/2" - 4" (62 mm - 100 mm) with No. 141 geared threader, and bolt capacity of 1/4" - 2" (6 mm - 50 mm). It has a 1 1/2 HP, single-phase, 60 Hz or 50 Hz, induction motor and a heavy-duty rotary type switch and integral safety foot switch for motor control. Transmission is two-speed (45 RPM for standard pipe and 16 RPM for low-voltage and special materials), and the front chuck is automatic gripping/centering while the rear centering device is automatic, centering only.
