B - You really don't know what you're getting.    C - You don't get a hardware warranty. D - You don't get any Technical Support. E - You don't get any training. F - You have to Install it yourself (or pay someone to do so) G - The software might not be right for your business. H - The Hardware (and Software) will probably be outdated H - Etc. Etc. They can go for anywhere from $5,000 - $7,000 Per Station + $100+ per month for Tech Support.   Advantages: You are getting a brand new system under warranty with technical support   Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE!!     3 - GETTING A BRAND NEW POS FROM SOMEBODY LIKE MYSELF   There are a handful of companies (myself included) that will give you a Brand new system for very low cost.   In return they will ask three things:   A - You must do your Credit Card Processing through them   B - You must have a Monthly Tech Support Contract   C - You will pay a small Setup Fee to cover Shipping and Installation   There's nothing wrong with this.
