When re-barreling a Remington 700 Series, Savage 110 Series, or any other rifle with a separate recoil lug, one of the tricky parts is keeping the lug in proper alignment while torquing the barrel.   This CNC-machined fixture bolts to the round receiver bottom using the forward stock bolt hold and holds the lug in proper position so you can concentrate on proper barrel torque, alignment, etc.   Double-ended fixture has one end cut to fit standard factory width lugs and the other cut to fit typical oversize lugs such as Holland or Tubb. Milled steel is fileable so you can adjust to fit your own custom lug.   Note that the fixture wraps 180 degrees around the receiver making it very self-aligning which is not the case with earlier styles. Being double-ended, it is also slightly longer than others which aids alignment. Made in the:
