The packaging (a manufacturer-provided plastic zip-lock bag) is worn and dusty, but the item inside is fine. Note that this is old stock - the inventory label is dated 30/07/01. It was in the engineers' spares store. Postage: Domestic: Will ship in an "under 3kg" satchel. We will combine multiple lots whereever possible - next size satchel is 5kg ($22.50). International: We charge postage at cost. Postage from Australia via Australia Post is expensive and varies by destination - and is subject to volumetric pricing (light items are priced by volume not weight). Most of the items are either surplus to requirements (e.g., when a machine is decommissioned and the unused spare parts are no longer needed), or from a site clearance (e.g., when a manufacturer sadly goes into administration and all assets are sold). Some items were lost in transit and auctioned by the courier or insurance agent. These items are generally unused and in excellent condition. We can’t call them "new" because they have been pre-owned. Some remain sealed in original packaging, but most have been opened for inspection or testing and entered into inventory. Some of the boxes are dusty and/or torn due to storage on shelves in a manufacturing environment and/or handling during the sale, but the items themselves are fine. If the item itself has scuffs or scratches we will clearly state so (but any such wear due to handling is purely superficial and will not interfere with the correct functioning of the device). We will describe the item, and its condition, honestly. We are not experts and do not use these items, therefore we simply describe them as completely as we can and present lots of photos.
