This is a Panasonic WJ-AVE5 Post-Production Audio/Video Processing Digital AV Mixer in like new condition.  This is used for editing or adding special effects. It can also be used for live camera switching. WJ-AVE5 Digital AV Mixer is designed for reproduction of video images using digital processing technology. - Built-in digital synchronizer - Special effects (mosaic, paint, still, strobe) - Superimpose - 98 wipe patterns and joystick positioner - Audio mixing - Fade function  SPECIFICATIONS: NTSC  - Input: X2- S-Video, or composite video, RCA type right/left audio inputs.  - External camera input: X1 - S-Video or composite  - Aux Audio Input - X1 - RCA type right/left  - Microphone Input - X1  - Title generator input - X1  - Recording output - X2 - S-Video, or composite video, RCA type right/left audio inputs.  - Video output (Preview) - X1 (RCA type video).  - Monitor output - X2 - RCA type video jack.  - Video effects: still, strobe, mosaic, paint, mix, wipe, superimpose, fade - in/out  - Audio Effects: mix, fade  - Background colors: white, yellow, cyan, green, magenta, red, blue, black  I used this in my studio for Wedding editing. Comes with the user’s manual and a copy of an article published  by AV Video magazine (Nov  1991) . The article was written by Peter Utz and he explains how to use this as a time base corrector.
