This is a really nice original Bosch DAM two cylinder magneto.  These were used on several early motorcycles possibly including Harley Davidson and Indian.  It may also have had applications in the early hit and miss gas engine world as well as some early two cylinder cars.  It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of.  It has only minor general wear found on a mechanical item over 100 years old!  It has very little noticeable wear in the bearings and turns over smoothly with excellent magnetic pull.  The points and everything inside the housing seem to be in great shape.  It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark on both leadouts that will surely run your engine if it is set up properly.  It is clockwise rotation.  The magneto mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern and the mounting threads are in decent condition  A helicoil type repair would be easy if you so choose to have perfect threads.  It has the original points cover and retainer on it.  I believe  it would be ready to be used on your project!  It would even make a great spare on the shelf!  This is a VERY hard to find magneto because it is so early so don't miss your chance on it.  I can't remember ever seeing another one for sale.
