SHIPPING POLICY When submitting payment, please include your address, telephone number, and whether the item(s) will be shipped to a business with a loading dock or forklift, a business without a loading dock or forklift, or to a residence requiring a lift gate truck, so that we can prepare an invoice and arrange for shipping. Most items are shipped LTL common carrier within three (3) business days after the payment is processed and cleared by our financial institution. You will be notified by e-mail of the shipment tracking number after the shipping company picks up the item(s) from our warehouse. For international shipments, the Buyer is responsible for all customs clearances and charges. It is the Buyer's responsibility to check the shipment for missing or damaged items and to contact the freight carrier. If there is noticeable damage or items missing from the shipment, it must be noted on the Bill of Lading before signing for the delivery. If the damage is concealed, the Buyer must notify the freight carrier immediately upon discovery of the damage. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to file a freight claim. Pinecrest Equipment Sales is not responsible for freight damage; however, we will assist in the claims process by providing any required documentation. We do not offer refunds on freight claims. Freight claims are processed through the applicable freight carrier. Once a claim has been filed and processed by the freight carrier, settlement can be made to you. A Buyer refusing a shipment will be responsible for the cost of shipping both ways and a 25% restocking fee, unless an agreement has been reached between Pinecrest Equipment Sales and the Buyer, prior to time of delivery. Items may be picked up at our warehouse. If you require assistance in loading, you will be charged $20.00 per item. Pickup is not normally available for new items, as they are shipped directly from the distributor or manufacturer. SHIPPING PREPARATION There will be a charge for shipping preparation, which includes boxing, crating, and/or palletizing. Charges will vary depending on the size and weight of the item and are included in each item listing. SHIPPING CHARGES All freight quotes are for a business address with a loading dock or fork lift for removal of the item(s) from the truck. If a business delivery requires a lift gate truck there will normally be an additional $60.00 added onto the freight rate by the freight carrier. For a residential delivery, there will normally be an additional $60.00 added onto the freight rate by the freight carrier. For items that will be shipped either UPS or USPS, the shipping costs, which includes packaging, will be noted in the listing.
