This particular stage has undergone a conversion process to make it compatible with the Arca Swiss system. The top of the stage features a Hejnar Photo Arca Swiss type clamp, and a special Arca-type rail is mounted under the stage. This allows the stage to be dropped into any Arca-type clamp and used in the field for macro photography. The Newport 423 Translation Stage is compatible with various Arca Swiss systems, including Markins, Really Right Stuff, Arca Swiss, Wimberley Kirk, Photo Clam, Foba, Vanguard ABH Series Ball Heads, Custom Brackets, Jobu Designs, and Acratech. The Newport 423 Translation Stage is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used for various applications. This linear stage comes with a 13mm micrometer and boasts a large 3 in. x 3 in. platform that offers exceptional performance and usability. The stage is constructed with precision ball bearings that ensure smooth and accurate movement.
