You are buying a unique, simple design, Motorised Ball Mill suitable for Pyro chemical milling or milling of other things to a fine powder. The Mill consists of the 5ins (125mm) diameter vessel to contain up to 200 grams of whatever you are milling, Filler cap, Milling media, in this case, 7 non sparking, inert alumina ceramic balls, suitable for milling chemicals or food products and a variable speed motor and power supply.  The sphere is made of hard plastic to prevent sparks. The power supply has 7 different settings to control the speed of the sphere. There is a flange on the unit so that it can be screwed or clamped to a bench or table, as shown. A set of instructions is provided on how to use. I designed this years ago to grind up chemicals. It works superbly, much better than the roller and jar type which you see for sale. I found that recommended milling times can be cut by 75% to get the same or even better results. I have a similar mill listed that can be run in conjunction with a variable speed electric drill for those of you wanting a cheaper version I often get asked if the mill will grind faster with more balls, the answer is no, due to the unique way it works. For customers in the USA where you have 110V mains supply you will need a step up mains adaptor or the unit will run at half speed!
