Anderson Converters 4-8 HD STATIC CONVERTER Static Converters are for light duty hobby use at 2/3 power. Mostly for the weekend hobbyist. We manufacturer all of our units. New Static Phase Converter 4-8 Hp Heavy Duty runs 1 motor from 4 horse power to 8 hp.only. Like milling Machines, lathes, saws, drill presses and other equipment. This Heavy Duty model is for more starts an hour and harder starting motors. The converter is installed before the machine on the power input side. Simple hook up just wire from your breaker to the static converter then over to your equipment. You do not have to take apart your equipment and wire the converter between the machine switch and the motor on your machine, like some the other converters. When you switch the machine on the auto starting circuit with Voltage sensing control starts the machine automatically. Anderson Converters has a 1 yr warranty. Static Converters run Three-Phase motors on single phase power at 2/3 rated horse power. Heavy duty static converters are for machines that start more often and that have a bigger load on the motor, not a free wheeling situation. Choose the size for the motor on your machine. These converters ONLY run motors the size listed on the converter. This means a 3-5 converter or a 4-8 converter will NOT run a 1-1/2 or a 2 hp motor. A 1-1/2 motor or a 2 hp motor would use a 1-3 converter. These static converters are just for one motor or just one machine. Not for Welders, Cnc Machines, Air Compressors, Pumps, Ovens, Air Conditioners, Fans, 2 speed motors or any machine that needs all three phases to power the machine to work properly.
