The Nalgene 300-4000 Polysulfone Graduated Filter Holder with Receiver has a 250mL capacity and can accept 47mm membrane filters. This filter holder is autoclavable and has a graduated receiver. It eliminates the need for a manifold and breakable glass vacuum flask, and two side-arms allow for connection to a vacuum line or syringe filters. The cover allows for convenient storage of sterile filtrate, and the material used is polysulfone. The overall width including side-arms is 110mm, and the height including cover ports is 180mm. The receiver diameter is 83mm, and the filter area with analytical support plate is 11.25mm while with sterilization support plate is 13.3mm. The tubing adapter accepts 6 to 8mm inner diameter vacuum tubing and can be stuffed with cotton for sterile venting during autoclaving.
