Here is a Mr. Shims shaft alignment tool set No. 20 RA with 2 Starrett No. 81-141 dial indicators. This dial indicating set has been used by someone that took very good care of it in a fairly clean environment. This set is in very good condition with very few scratches and scuffs consistent with normal use. There are no engravings or initials on any of these tools or protective plastic box. These tools are all clean and ready to go back to work. The dial indicators both work like new. The indicators move freely and easily and always return to "0". The plastic clear crystals have only minor scratches and rotate and lock down just like they were designed. The chain clamps normally take the most abuse and you can tell that these have been well taken care of and have not been used too very much. The chains are not spotless but are not very dirty. There are 4 extention rods, 1 - 5", 2 - 7", and 1 - 9" that are very clean, very few imperfections. The snugs are also look like new. They hold the 1/2" extension rods and the 3/8" indicator holding rods. This kit also comes with some original paperwork with instructions on how to align two shafts or couplings. The black plastic carrying case is in good condition as well. The clasps work like new and it hold and protects these tool very well, just a few dings but nothing that would effect anything. Everything in this American made kit is in very good condition and would make a great addition to any precision tool box.
