Up for auction is a Mini Max MM "16 band saw. This band saw belonged to my wife's father. He recently retired and moved to Florida, leaving this band saw behind for me to keep or sell. Well since this is very overkill for my tastes in tools, I decided to sell it. Coming from a very picky person, I can comfortably say that this saw is truly in like-new condition. The only thing that is wrong with it is that the orange plastic handle for the rip fence has been broken. I believe that it was just broken during his move as he was very meticulous about keeping his belongings looking like-new. You can see in the photo that the handle was only a convenience, even being broken it is totally usable. I would personally use a file and smooth out the break and leave it as it is because you can easily loosen and tighten the handle for the fence as it is. As for the rest of the saw, I don't have much to say, it is like-new! The metal blade guard is raw steel, so it has some slight surface rust on it, I would at least coat it with some WD-40 or something to keep it from rusting. You can also see in the last photo that there are some extras included! One is a pushing mechanism for cutting at set angles, another is the large T-handle tool for steering and moving this huge and heavy saw around. Last thing you will notice is a power cable, and you may notice that this is not an ordinary plug, it is a 30-amp plug, so you will need a 30-amp breaker wired up to a 30-amp outlet in your shop. I do not have this type of connection at my house to connect this saw to so I cannot test run this saw for you, but as you can see this saw has barely been used, there are not any problems with it. As for shipping this monster band saw? Well I am not shipping it. I am not coordinating a freight ship. I will roll this saw out of my garage and into the driveway and help you put it into your truck or van for you. I suggest having 3 guys to do the job plus some straps and a moving blanket or two to keep it from getting scratched when we slide it into you truck or van. If you want this freight shipped, please do all of the coordinating and pay out of your pocket! Again, I will be here to roll the saw out of my garage so the freight guy could lift-gate it onto the bed of the freight truck. I just ask that you communicate with me so I will know when they will be arriving. I work from home so I am here most of the time, so I am sure we can work something out. I prefer cash upon pickup but I also accept PayPal or I can swipe your credit card in person! Bidding starts at $2015.00 Happy New Year!
