Moreover, the Compandor controls have level match, speed choices ranging from fast, norm, to slow. There is also a Ratio of 1 to 2, Balance, and Loudness switches, letting you adjust the sound settings to your preference, ranging from flat to the maximum volume. Additionally, this device features a headphone jack, Tape 3 input and output jacks, and a Compandor switch with options to expand, compress, or turn it off. The audio control center is designed with a selector for different functions such as TV, CD, tuner, and phono, which can be changed using pushbutton switches with indicator lights. The McIntosh C34V A/V Preamplifier/Audio/Video Control Center is a superb vintage audio device that is still in excellent condition, showing no signs of damage. The panel is made of glass and is illuminated for practicality. The Monitor amplifier controls include left and right gains and an input switch that is available in external, listen or record options.
