2284UC0E.28 New, Unknown Cast Stainless? 2-Bolt Flanges with Recess for O-Ring Seal, .603" ID.  Each bid quantity is for a Lot of Two (2) Flanges.  You may bid / buy any number of lots, up to the total quantity available above. These were acquired at a lost freight auction recently, and we do not know much else about them.  They were received new in a bulk unmarked corrugated box.  The only information we have about them are some labels that say, "Made in China."  As for the material, they attract a strong magnet about half-heartedly, so they are not ordinary steel or common cast iron.  We are guessing they are some kind of ferritic cast stainless steel, but we don't know that for certain. These are sized about right for 6mm OD tubing, and they remind me of a military pump I had once upon a time.  The pump had two studs in the casing and a flange similar to these that bolted onto them.  You would basically slide a piece of thin wall tubing through the flange, put a thick o-ring around the tubing, then spread the tubing slightly with a flaring tool.  When the flange was bolted to the casing, the o-ring would compress; forming a nice seal around the tubing, as well as between the pump casing and flange.  The flare kept the tubing from slipping out under pressure, while the o-ring seal allowed a small degree of movement, and served as a vibration isolator.  Not sure that's what these are, but it's just an idea. According to the calipers Overall length:  2.124" (53.97mm) Overall width:  1.499" (38.09mm) Center hole diameter:  approx. .603" (15.31mm) Mounting hole diameter:  .355" (9.02mm) Mounting hole spacing:  1.485" (37.71mm) Thickness:  .304" (7.73mm)
