Logic Controls' data pass-through process allows connection of multiple pole displays cash drawers printers and other devices to a single output port. In the pass through mode a pole display monitors the incoming data then decides to display the data or pass it to the next down-stream device. Bright blue - green vacuum fluorescent characters are enhanced with an optical filter for better contrast and easier viewing. All standard displays support moving sign advertisements during periods of inactivity with a single message download eliminating constant application software refreshing. The LD9000 is a 2x20 line, 9.5mm character height display that comes with much functionality that simply is not found in other vendors’ offerings. “Smart scrolling,” user-definable characters, and a built-in real-time clock are all standard features of the unit’s firmware. In addition, the LD9000 comes with a wide variety of interfaces, can emulate many popular command sets, and has better visibility due to an optically matched lens and wider character pitch. Best of all, this premium pole display is also one of the most affordable on the market. The PD3800 universal pole display provides support for almost any command set or language. The unit supports the Logic Controls command set and OPOS and JPOS drivers, but it can also be programmed to support command sets from Epson, Partner Tech, Ultimate Technologies, IEE, EMAX, Aedex, or Noritake. In addition, updated or new command sets can be downloaded into the display at any time after purchase. Many different languages are also supported- from common languages like English, Spanish, German, and French to less common languages like Norwegian and Slavonic. Importantly, these command sets and languages are selected through a software interface. The use of dip switches or other hardware-based selection mechanisms, which inherently decrease the reliability of the hardware but are still used by our competitors, is avoided.
