Our Biomedical Engineering Department disassembled it, cleaned it, reassembled it, lubricated it and then tested and calibrated it. You can see the beautiful ribbons we cut with it on the images of this offer. This microtome has a disposable blade holder for high profile blades, a quick release specimen holder and a digital slice counter. It turns smoothly and effortlessly throughout the 60mm vertical stroke of the specimen holder. This microtome is ready to be put to good use in your lab.
