Leica has addressed this problem by introducing the FTA360 Tripod Adaptor that fits on Leica Tripods TRI70 and TRI100. The FTA360 allows you to finely tune the location of the laser dot projections with the introduction of two adjustment knobs on the adapter itself. One knob allows adjustment on the x axis and the other on the y axis so that precise targeting can be achieved.
