_Standard DIV FORESTRY SUPPLIERS JIM-GEM® OST (Dibble) Bar Description Works best in non-rocky soil that is easy to penetrate. Blade is wedge-shaped in cross section. Bar is 38” long. Blade is 3”W x 10-1/4”L, 3/4” wide at top, tapering to a thin wedge. Features a cast blade of special alloy steel. Blade and footstep are cast as one piece so footstep won’t break or bend, even under heavy use. Blade “spike” fits into handle to form reinforced joint. Strong weld at handle and blade joint.
