  UNITED ELECTRIC CONTROLS Co. J4P MODEL 1300 TYPE J4 FLOW TRANSDUCER NEW in Factory Box If you need more pictures I will be happy to provide them.   The J4P has a Grey Iron enclosure for central office or above ground outdoor use. For use on alarm panels, remote dryers, and aerial cables.   Type J4 Flow Transducer converts gas (air) flow to an electrical resistance signal which can be manually read at a test desk or by any of the automatic monitoring systems in use today.  It also provides automatic monitoring shut-off on pressure reversal.   Type J4 Flow Transducer can be connected to a single dedicated or subscriber pair.  It does not require an additional power pair to operate.   The signal from Tupe J4 Flow Transducer  is a variable electrical resistance from 100,000 to 3,820,000 ohms or 2.5 to 50 volts on a test desk 120 volt scale.  The read-out is in identical values to Bell ‘F’ or UE J59F underground pressure transducers except it read in the opposite direction.    Lowest flow read as 3,820,000 ohms and maximum range flow reads as 100,000 ohms.   All Type J4 Flow Transducers are factory calibrated for normal pip pressure of 10 PSI.  An approximate 4% of range shift downward for each 1 PSI drop is normal.
