Recently, the spindle drive was replaced with a modern digital drive, making it tap very nicely with a smooth transition from forward to reverse. Even at its top rpm of 3,500, the spindle and X, Y, and Z run very smoothly. This quality machine is available at a great price and can be seen running. It weighs around 7,000 lbs, so it's recommended to use machine movers. Please note that this auction may end early as it's listed locally and may sell before the auction is over. Thank you for your interest! This Hurco MB-1 CNC mill comes with an operator's manual that can be valuable if you've never run one before. It's worth noting that Hurco machines are used at Lockheed and Loral space systems for their reliability and precision. This Hurco MB-1 CNC mill is in good running condition and comes with extras. Made in the early 1980s, it has since seen upgrades that enhance its precision. With a direct connection to a PC, you can program it with any CAD/CAM software and send in programs. The tool changer has been disabled due to some problems, but the mill comes with air chucking, making tool changes by hand much faster.
