Hewlett-Packard made the best test equipment in the world and the 8920 Series was just another in a long line of that engineering excellence.  Really provided  the accuracy and performance of discreet bench test equipment in a compact portable unified unit. The 8920 Series will automatically tune to the transmit frequency which made these ideal for aligning  the current digital series of radios and the multiple alignment points. This auction is for a HP 8920A covering the full range from .4 Mhz to 1Ghz supporting AM.FM and SSB.  Has the Spectrum Analyzer / Tracking Generator , Signaling. I./O module for RS-232 HP-IB, audio filters and radio interface card installed. With the full Buy It Now price will include the Repeater Function software card and cable,  This turns the 8920 into a completely programmable repeater with programmable ID'er and courtesy tone. Unit had the periodic  calibration completed as well as the power supply output being re-capped and the main switching FET replaced proactively.  Operation verified on AC and DC.  Firmware updated to latest version 14 which is the latest for the memory board installed which also has the memory expansion installed. Full Specifications and Operations Manual are readily available on the web and parts readily available since HP leveraged this series across a large number of other products.   Included Accessories AC power cord  DC connector kit Microphone - -very good condition. Repeater Operation software card with specific BNC jumper attenuator Anything else pictured is just to show functionality and is not included. CRT  are clear and bright.  No visible burn-in on the CRT. Unit passes all power on  selftests  and  the complete diagnostics without errors  I know of nothing wrong or broken with this unit electronically.   Unit is complete with all feet , knobs and hardware and in  good shape with typical dings and scratches  - .   Even though the unit is fully operational it is sold  with  14 day  warranty only.   Shipping is via UPS ground insured adult signature required to lower 48 only
