  HP 4285a 75 kHz to 30 MHz Precision LCR Meter The HP 4285a is a high speed, precision test instrument for prodution line or quality control. This unit has HPIB Measures the following parameters: |Z|, R, X  from 0.01 mohm to 99.9999 Mohm |Y|, G, B from 0.01 nS to 99.9999 S Capacitance  from 0.01 fF to 999.999 uF Inductance from 0.001 nH to 99.9999 H D from 0.000001  to 9.99999 Q from 0.01 to 99999.9 Phase from -180.000 to 180.000 degrees Shown testing a 100 ohm HP Resistance standard at 75 kHz (resistance standard not included) Also shown testing a 10 pF HP capacitance standard at 1 MHz (capacitance standard not included) I have checked this unit with various resistors and capacitors and have gotten accurate results. I have checked the Osc. Output and the frequencies and output levels are good.  I have sent the instrument several commands over the HPIB, and it responded correctly. I have tested the memory card slot and it functioned properly No other tests were performed on this instrument. All photos are of actual unit This unit is very good cosmetically, with some small scratches on the front panel , and some scrapes on the case Serial Number  3041 J 01113 Comes with CD with copy of operation & maintenance manuals (PDF), and power cord.
