HP 4284A  20Hz-1MHz Precision LCR Meter. As shown, the main operation and functions work and all the impedance or admittance expressions can be displayed. For actual measurement, you need to use additional impedance test fixture. In the measurement shown in the picture, HP16047A is being used (not included).  The 1st and 2nd pictures show measurement of series 1nF and 750 Ohm at 1.00MHz. As shown there, narrow inactive lines (yellow lines) appear on the displayed numbers but measured numbers are clearly shown without any problem.  However, at a lower display area (1st and 2nd photo), there are two broader yellow lines below Vm and Im. These two lines make invisible for indication of CORR: OPEN SHORT LOAD and CBL 0m etc, and  System Message at the lowest area is no problem.     The display area is shown in the operation manual  https://wiki.epfl.ch/carplat/documents/hp4284a_lcr_manual.pdf, and you can find the lower area has less important message or not, depending on the use.   Condition is "Used".
