Power supply for the TFT screen is 2.8-3.3V and 3.3V for the backlight. When using an input voltage VIN of 5V, make sure to step down to 3.3V using a voltage regulator IC since the TFT requires 3.3V voltage to operate. Note that the 3.0" TFT PCB may be printed 3.2" but it is designed to work the same by the manufacturer. To properly wire the unit, ensure your MCU working voltage is 3.3V, connect RS-P3^5, WR-PC0, RD-PC2, CS-PC3, and REST-PC4. Additionally, DB0-DB7 should be connected to PB0-PB7, while DB8-DB15 is connected to PA0-PA7. This high quality LCD module includes a touch screen and PCB adapter for use with the Arduino 3" 3.0 inch TFT LCD display. The LCD and touch screen both have their own controller, making it easy to drive with a 8051, AVR, or PIC low power controller. The use of the PCB adapter and touch panel increases portability, development efficiency and reduces development costs. The control chip, R610509V, delivers a resolution of 240x400 on a physical size of 64.6 x 93mm, with a temperature range of use of -20 to 70 В°C.
